Psoriasis
This is the case of a 31-year-old man. As a teenager, he developed disabling arthritis and became wheelchair-bound. Two other aspects of his illness were red, itchy skin rashes and colitis. He was treated with large doses of steroids. After some initial improvement, his skin rash flared and covered most of his skin with areas of angry, scaling, ulcerating, and oozing lesions. He was and put on two chemotherapy drugs: Methotrexate and Embrel (costing over $2,000 dollars per month of treatment). Again after some initial improvement, his condition deteriorated and he required repeated courses of antibiotics for acute-on-chronic sinusitis and antifungal drugs for toe fungus.
 

Psoriasis Begins and Heals in the Bowel

I spoke the above words (three times so there would be no doubt about the message) to him when he first consulted me. Then I outlined my bowel-based integrative program. This is what he told my radio listeners about six months later: I own a business with eight employees and work more than twelve hours a day. I do not take any drugs. I have healthy skin and normal bowel movements. I relieve my residual joint stiffness with stretches and anti-inflammatory spices and enzymes.
 

Psoriasis is a serious illness that is primarily caused by mold allergy, food allergy, mold toxins, gut fermentation, and adverse food reactions. Stress worsens the condition. It begins with red and itchy skin lesions, which enlarge and progress to involve more areas. Later inflammation of the skin spreads to joints, tendons, and muscles, and the bowel. Unless reversed, it causes joint deformity. Many patients develop colitis and other inflammatory syndromes. Most patients also have fungal infections in their toes.
 

Successful treatment requires robust nutritional, environmental and detox remedies. Acute stress requires deep spiritual work.
 

- Psoriasis is considered a serious immune disease. It is treated with high doses of steroids followed by chemotherapy. Such therapies do not reverse lupus.

- All immune dysfunctions begin as inflammatory disorders, which cannot be reversed with steroids and chemotherapy.

- All inflammations begin with excess acidity, incremental oxyradical activity, and thickening of bodily fluids. None of these derangements can be reversed with steroids and chemotherapy.

- The problems of acidity and oxyradicals develop when the oxygen-driven systems of the body are blocked and a state of dysox (dysfunctional oxygen metabolism) results. Dysox cannot be reversed with steroids and chemotherapy.
 

The proper treatment of psoriasis is to systematically detect and address all relevant issues of foods, environment, and stress that threaten oxygen-driven systems in the body.
